Well, I learned a good lesson about the big X next to the story. I activated operation clean slate and wiped out my story. I rebuilt it again but removed Pandora's Box a prologue. I got some really good feedback that led to the decision. Pandora's doesn't fit where I put it so I returned it to its place in the story timeline. Burning The Raven was the original 1st chapter and is so again.
I'm still digging around to figure it out. It concerns me a bit but I've not heard of anybody getting ripped off from here. I'm wondering if I should pull out too.
Hey friends of fantasy, horror and SF writing I had an revelation! If you're looking for more input and critiques for your stories check out this site http://critters.org/ its a great way to get feedback on your work but you have to put in some effort as well. You have to critique several stories to get your critiqued. It is a good tool worth checking out though.
@magixinreading I'm working on the next chapter but it is slow going. This is one of them chapter I wrote at 3 in the morning when I was only half conscious. Ouch, some painful editing.
So I broke 1k reads on Change of an Age and I'm thrilled about it. The question I have is, does that mean anything on WP? If my story was terrible and it just sat for a year would it accumulate the same number of reads?
@ClaudiaIseul Instead of looking up what corporate stratification and is, why not read personal descriptions of how it effected people. In particular people who are involved in what your chars. are involved with.
