AUTHOR'S NOTE ❤️✨
And just like that... we've reached the end.
Honestly, I don't even know where to begin.
What started as a simple idea eventually became a story that stayed with me for months. Along the way, I laughed, cried, got frustrated, rewrote scenes, doubted myself, and somehow fell in love with these characters more than I ever expected.
Fabian and Eleanor's story was never just about romance.
It was about grief.
It was about loneliness.
It was about healing.
It was about learning to see people for who they truly are.
And most importantly, it was about finding light even in the darkest places.
Writing Eleanor was both beautiful and heartbreaking. She was a character who spent most of her life unseen, yet she became the person who helped others see the world differently. Fabian began this story feeling lost, but through Eleanor, he found his voice, his passion, and ultimately himself.
I know this story isn't perfect. There are things I would probably change, scenes I would rewrite, and lines I would polish if I looked back on them tomorrow.
But despite all that, I am proud of it.
I am proud that I finished.
I am proud that I saw this story through to the end.
And I am incredibly grateful to every single person who read, voted, commented, shared theories, got angry at characters, cried with them, and stayed until the very last page.
Thank you for giving this story a chance.
Thank you for loving these characters.
Thank you for walking this journey with me.
I'm excited to finally bring this story to its conclusion because there are so many other stories living in my head that I can't wait to share with you all someday. ❤️
And if there's one thing I'd like you to take away from this story, it's this:
Sometimes the people who change our lives aren't meant to stay forever.
Sometimes they arrive only long enough to leave a mark on our hearts.
Thank you for reading. ❤️
