I want to address something clearly and once.
Some of my chapters were removed because I signed legal publishing contracts with official platforms. That is not a “yucky move,” a trick, or false advertising that is how professional writing works. The story was completed. It was later redistributed according to contract requirements.
Authors are not obligated to keep their work free forever. Writing takes time, energy, creativity, and sacrifice. Choosing to monetize that work does not make it “mid,” greedy, or dishonest it makes it a career choice.
If paid platforms are not for you, that is completely okay. You are free to stop reading, unfollow, or move on to content that fits your preferences. What is not okay is attacking authors for growing, signing contracts, or choosing to be compensated for their labor.
Criticism is welcome. Disrespect and entitlement are not.
I appreciate readers who understand that writers are humans with responsibilities, not machines that produce free content endlessly. Thank you to those who have supported my work and my growth it does not go unnoticed.
