          To be honest, I'm just a regular user, who helps g out on the site, I would think that as long as you own the rights to the material you post here, there should be no problem. However, I can't say for sure. 
          
          I'd suggest that you submit a request to the Wattpad Team at : http://support.wattpad.com/home
          
          Fill out the form, and ask your query, then someone from the Wattpad Support, will explain better what you can and cannot do. They do have a response policy on around 24-48 hours, but they are fairly quick to respond. Well, unless it's Weekend of course. :)
          
          I'm sorry that I can't be of more help, but it's best to contact them on the right procedure. That way there won't be any problem.

          I'm the owner of an ebook production company, which, apparently, I can't name here.  ;-)  .  I am experimenting with providing new marketing or curation services to my ebook/print formatting and production clients.  I'd like to create an account here in which I can post, say, 5 excerpts from a given book, 1 excerpt per week per book, to allow the readers to determine if they are interested, or not, in said book, and of course, to give my author client the exposure of the excerpts.  I've tried to determine if there would be any issue with doing this on Wattpad--it seems that publishers do this frequently.  Does this seem "okay" under the rules here?  I don't want to do something that would be problematic.

I have a few pages of Box of Rocks up, and I'll be posting some of my new humor book shortly. I actually got an email to say that you were now in Wattpad (part of my secret ninja network, I'm sure). Hope Wattpad works out for you and your clients. Hard to say how many books I've sold (maybe none) by participating here.

@KarlaTelega Karla!  How the hell did you find me here?  I can't find anything here, either.  I'm looking at offering a service, for my clients--putting excerpts of their books up, here, maybe at Goodreads, on my site, and maybe another place, along with fairly massive social e-blasts to point to them.  Thus, I'm bumbling around here.
          
          How's your writing going?  Are you going to be posting stories here?
