Hello friends!!
          
          I know I’ve been posting sporadically lately, but I couldn’t let this day come and go without recognizing that today marks my 10 Year Anniversary on Wattpad!
          
          When I first downloaded this app, I was in high school. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, what the future would look like, or that so many people would connect with the stories that I had yet to write.
          
          Since then, I’ve made countless friends, written and posted nine full-length novels, won three Watty Awards, flown out to L.A. for my first writing convention, and had so many other inspiring opportunities. Wattpad is a big reason why my writing dream hasn’t died, and I’m so excited to see what the next ten years will hold.

Dear Readers,
          
          When I wrote “Death’s Temporary Home for Lost Souls,” it was the first time I branched out from the genres that I’m used to, and the first time I felt really solid in my abilities as a writer. The comments and feedback that I received from all of you warmed my heart more than any other story.
          
          That being said, I’m (bitter-sweetly) removing this story from Wattpad in one month — February 23rd, 2025 — with the aim of revising and self-publishing it. Honestly, it both scares and excites me to death (pun not intended) to take this leap in my writing journey, but I’ve always dreamed of holding my own work in my hands and seeing it out in the world. And, hopefully, some of you would feel so inclined to add it to your own libraries as well! This book just feels like the right place to start.
          
          For everyone who has supported this story on Wattpad — THANK YOU!! And for everyone who is currently reading it, or will before FEB 23rd, I hope you enjoy the ride.
