I'm a first time writer looking to fulfil a dream of writing a series of books. Kingsnorth Twins is my main project at the moment and I'm looking to write a series of five books featuring the Twins Astraea and Atlas.



They live in a reshaped Earth after a global disaster destroyed the world we all know nearly 300 years prior to the events of the initial book: The Journey Beyond. Having lived their whole life in one small part of their new world they find themselves thrust into a life they had never imagined for themselves. There are still those that lust for power and resources which leads to a threat of war on their newly formed continent. They will have to face many challenges to fight of the threat but a prophecy looms over them that could destroy their hopes of victory.



I have been thinking of this world for a long time now and it feels great to finally start committing it to words. Part of me wants to rush ahead because I already have ideas of the challenges I want Astraea and Atlas to face but I know taking my time with this is the best way. After all I want to do these books justice even if it means they're only for me.



I very much appreciate anyone and everyone that reads my work as i would never have believed something I created would be viewed by any number of people let alone potentially liked. I'd love to know people's opinions on the series, even if it's constructive criticism, as I do appreciate knowing that people are reading my work.
