 Just a quick heads-up — Chapter 15 is in final editing and should be up later today or tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek:
          
          To say the walk back to the commune was easy would’ve been a cruel joke.
          “So much for going back quietly,” Jinx muttered, narrowing her eyes at the sight ahead. Enforcers—at least two dozen—moved in tight formation along the lower streets, flanked by Noxian soldiers in muted red armor.
          “Yeesh… wonder who lit the fire.”
          Selene’s eyes narrowed, disbelief flickering across her face. Her lips pressed into a thin line.
          “We’re the fucking fire,” she muttered, low and steady.

Chapter 14 - (Part 2) is up! 
          
          That said… according to my outline, we’re getting dangerously close (like, 4 chapter-ish... really depends if I spiral again) to events from Arcane’s episode 6 timeline… and honestly, I’m not sure I’m ready for that.

          Part 2 will be up tomorrow! It's all written, just needs a bit of editing and a final check.

Chapter 14 Update + Sneak Peek
          What was meant to be a pretty straightforward chapter kind of… spiraled. I crammed so much into it that it’s getting split into two parts. That said, I don’t want to leave you with a weird half-story or an awkward cliffhanger, so the plan is to drop both parts at (or around) the same time.
          When?
          That is a very good question...
          
          But in the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek:
          
          “You let her paint another one?” she groaned.
          “Correction—I painted it. Isha just supervised.” Jinx didn’t even look up from her stack.
          “You really have no sense of boundaries, do you?” Selene crossed her arms, glaring at the mess.
          “Define boundaries.”
          “Of course you don’t.”
          “You could just admit you like it,” Jinx offered with a too-sweet smile.
          Selene sighed. “It’s not… horrible.”

Chapter 13 is up — even though I hadn’t planned for it! Honestly, as we get closer to the parts I love most about the story, writing has been getting a lot easier. It also helps that the next 2–3 chapters are already pre-written, so I’m mostly just polishing them now.
          This chapter actually started as barely half a page, but once I began adding things... it just kept growing!
          So yeah — three chapters this month. Yay!

Chapter 11 is in the works!
          It’s not quite ready... but it’s getting close. 
          Here’s a little teaser to give you a taste of what’s to come:
          
          "Freckles," she said, grinning. "Are you asking me for a favor?"
