Title: Flying on Broken Wings 
🚨Cringe alert🚨 😬

Missing the somber breeze that caressed my skin,
Reminiscing of the way your warmth,
Caressed my lonesome soul, 
You cradled my heart,
As it had no place of rest,
You're what kept it beating,
Despite the shattered fragments.

You were the glue that kept it pieced together, 
You broke the barricade that kept me from freedom,
You gave me wings to fly.

Yet like the wind,
You came and went,
Carrying away my heart and soul,
Leaving me an empty vessel,
Void of your touch,
Your warmth,
Your kiss.

The wind howls as I slice through it on broken wings,
Tattered like my weary soul,
Broken like my wounded heart.
