Hey guys, it's been a while. I'm not dead (though this account looks like it), might as well give a little update.
Time flies, I'm tired and busy, then motivation goes on strike. Repeat, repeat, repeat. I would have wanted to wrap up my stories, but given the rate I'm updating at, well ya'll guessed my answer. Cyber War is literally one chapter away from completion and I have like half of it done. But for some reason I just couldn't find a good enough way to finish it well. The story has basically come to an end with the latest chapter, what happens after is easy to imagine. I had been working on the sequel to Mythical Guardians since 2020, and I'm still stuck in the first chapter. I had a clear flow of how everything is supposed to go and I was excited about it for a while. But then I was just tired of pouring my heart and soul out into original works that barely gets noticed. I'm tired of seeing tons of talented authors here with underappreciated works, and Wattpad getting gradually more monetized over time doesn't help either. What happens now is that I barely find the motivation to pick up a book and read, much less sit down for hours and write. I had so much passion for the worlds and characters that I created, and that motivation is slipping away day by day. Life changes you I suppose.
I still love to write don't get me wrong, and I'm genuinely happy to find readers still enjoying my books, you guys are my biggest support and the drive that keeps me going. I've had the thought of leaving Wattpad for a long time, but never really got around to doing it and establishing anew somewhere else. Maybe I'll come back with book updates and keep writing sometime in the future. But for the time being, not much is going to happen until I refind and reignite that intense passion. I still receive notifs and will respond to comments when I have the mood, but it will be pretty quiet around here as it had been for the last year or so.
