Hi! I'm Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo or mostly known as Kathryn Bernardo. I'am an Actress at the ABS-CBN Star Magic or best known as an Actress in the teleserye ''Princess and I'' as ''Areeyah'' or best known as ''Mikay''. My parents are Teodoro Bernardo and Luzviminda Cruz Bernardo. I'am a Filipina Actress, I was best known for my role as ''Mara'' in the Filipino drama, ''Mara Clara''. I'am currently a contract artist with Star Magic and most recently starred as ''Ana Bartolome'' in the 2011 drama film, ''Way Back Home''. I was born in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija and was a school student of the OB Montessori Center Inc. in Greenhills. I began acting in 2003, appearing as ''Young Cielo'' in ''It Might Be You''. I acted primarily in televison but has also appeared in several movies. My first breakthrough was ''Mara Clara'' with my Co-star Julia Montes. I'am currently working on ''Princess and I'', an upcoming romance-drama televison series, following on from the success of the televison series, ''Growing Up'' in 2011. On March 29,1996, the destiny of another little girl began. Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo was born in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. Her mother mommy Luzviminda (Min Bernardo) a native Cabanatuan just like her husband tito Freddie. She adds that she started havind contractions when mommy Mon and tito Freddie were in a bank, but she still went with him to the site where their dream house was to be built. From there though, she asked to be driven straight to Nueva Ecija Doctor's Hospital to give to their fourth child. Kathryn is a variation of the name Kathleen that mommy Luzviminda, also called Min, forst throught of giving her bunso while Chandria is a play on the moniker of tito Freddie's favourite actress Chanda Romero.
