These first four short stories were written as entries to some short story competitions last year. Needless to say I didn't win but I think they are good and would like to do a lot more writing. There is nothing like a word count to hone your writing skills! I think The Red Blanket, in particular, suffers from being too constricted so I might rethink that one into something a little longer.
