@BEATNyo okay well here it is. I thought the side plot could be like this, part 1:
when the guys are being hold up in the prison cell for the night, they meet another man that’s in there who comments on their foolishness, thinking they could get away with it. Scanlan calls him out, asks him why he broke into Gerudo town and accuses him of being a creep or something.
The man states he only broke into town just to see his daughter again. Everyone is taken aback by this, especially Scanlan. Grog then asks the man why he had to break into town to see his daughter, can’t he see her whenever? Then Sam and Tiberius explain more to their friends about the Gerudo and their traditions, one of them being that when a Gerudo child is born beyond the home city, when they reach the age of 6 or 7 they must leave their parents and return to Gerudo town and stay confined there to learn about their ways and culture until they reach of age themselves to venture out into the world.
Then Scanlan asks the man what does his wife think of him trying to break her people’s rules, but the man reveals that his wife is dead, she died from a rare illness when his daughter was a toddler, it was hard for him but he did his best with his daughter. He knew about the Gerudo tradition, but it was still hard when his daughter had to leave. He knows she’s doing okay, she’s living with her grandmother and aunt, but he still misses her. Then he also reveals that his daughter is his only family he has left in this world.
