Huge shoutout to @melvauthor and their book “come back to me”. Very rarely do I find myself reading sequels/spin-offs or even just another book by the same author but I can’t help but love this authors work. Their books are just to entertaining to read and I can’t help but get immersed in the story and characters. I love that she engages with her readers and constantly replies to their comments. Not to mention I made a huge scene suggestion for the book and she actually took it into consideration and made it happen! Makes me feel truly valued as a reader. Please check out their books if you’d like something sweet or something a little more sexual. Xx

Stop passing off toxic relationships and behaviour as “just fiction” when studies have shown that fiction has an influence over us in real life.
          
          For many of us we read books to escape the world around us and take us somewhere else. But the line between fiction and reality is so blurred and closely intertwined.
          
          Don’t write toxic characters into your story only to romanise them and normalise their behaviour. 
          
          Fiction should not set up an illusion or fantasy as reality for the readers on this site — the majority who are young girls. If you dream about being strangled and treated like dirt then don’t bother publishing your book with characters representing your crude twisted kinks. Fiction can change how people perceive reality and how they act in it. 
          
          You’re words hold power. Remember that about your books.

Omg I can’t tell you how fed up I am of reading the same typical archetype male: selfish, inconsiderate, arrogant and cocky. It’s honestly so goddamn boring and repetitive. These characters are so infuriating and exasperating to put up with. I can’t find their personalities or insensitive behaviour attractive or readable. Ughhhhh (눈‸눈)
