          “Will you do it?”
          
          I turned to Zietta, her hands busy with the pots. 
          
          “Do what?”
          
          “Talk to her beforehand. You’ll have to talk to her eventually. It’s inevitable, dear.”
          
          I knew that. I knew I would have to face Cata sooner than later but right now, I didn’t even want to think about that. I wanted to cross that bridge when I got there, and thinking about it would only make me anxious. 
          
          “Zietta,” I sighed, placing the knife aside. “I don’t—I can’t talk to her over the phone or text. I want to look her in the eye; at least try to gain my dignity back.” I didn’t know where this newfound confidence was coming from, when I knew I would much rather send a voicemail grovelling an apology then disappear off the face of the earth. 
          
          Zietta grinned, “that’s my girl. I’m proud of you, Cara.” 
          
          “Thank you, Zietta.”

NEW CHAPTER OF “A PAST LEFT BROKEN” OUT!

!!!HAPPY TEASER TUESDAY!!! 
          
          Heyyy Butterflies! As most of y’all know, I update on Wednesdays and Fridays. But I’ve been thinking of doing this thing where (almost) every Tuesday, I show you guys a snippet of the chapter to come! 
          
          So without further ado, here it is!!

          “Yeah, sorry about that.” 
          
          “No need. I liked it.” I assured, my fingers thrumming along her spine.
          
          “The great Don liked begging me?” She scoffed in disbelief.
          
          I simply simply smirked. “The great Don would fall to his knees for you every single day at your request.” 
          
          She bit her bottom lip, the actions sending a lick of anticipation coursing through my veins. 
          
          “Alright then,” she leaned in closer to me and kissed the side of my mouth. “I request.”
          
          And there it was. That one comment, two simple words, eight teasing letters, sent me over the edge.
          
          I clasped her nape and pushed her into me, our body molding as one as the sliver of space between us dispersed.
          
          Our lips clashed and I tugged her tongue into mine, letting them tangle and twine and wring our moans out of her. I ran my tongue over the roof of her mouth, let it glide along her bottom lip, over her teeth, before finding its way back to hers. The same way I always found my way back to her, every day.

          This chapter is spicy, funny, and so swoon worthy that I’ve had to read it multiple times and I’m still not over it!! ❤️❤️❤️
