I just had a dream last night/ this morning.
There was this young actor guy from a tv show Ive been watching latterly, and in this dream I'm an actor too. In the show our characters fall in love by the finale, and it seemed we had fallen in love in real life as well.
We're on a school bus going home from either filming or school, and he invites me to sit next to him when the bus stops to pick up some younger kids from a primary school. I lean on him because I feel tired. But, suddenly, as the kids are piling onto the bus, I realise I'd left my school bag - and swimming bag, for some reason - under the seat I was previously siting at. I go to pack it all up but it takes me an embarrassingly long time.
I go back to sit with the actor dude, and look out the opposite window to see the same guy in the middle of a passing field doing... something idk, but I think it was cute and endearing because I smiled fondly at him (the version of him out the window, he's still next to me. Perhaps that was supposed to be like a memory, but dreams rarely ever make complete sense so you knows?).
Anyway, I turn away from the window and the actor dude next to me says awkwardly, "So, could we, like, be a thing?"
And I say wistfully, "Sadly... no."
And the dream ended. Right. There.
I don't even have a celebrity crush on this guy (or anyone, really) but damn when I tell you I felt kinda heartbroken for a few minutes this morning when I woke up, I'm not even kidding.
Man, this dream both provided excellent story material (feel free to use this as a prompt or something, I don't mind. That would be kinda cool actually! ) and totally sucked at the same time.
Anyway, just thought someone out there should know about this besides me. Because damn this dream was cinematic.
