It's been exactly one month since I started posting on Wattpad.

One day, I want to see Shinya portrayed by an actor on TV.
          But maybe that’s nothing more than a distant dream.
          I don’t necessarily want to be a novelist.
          I just want as many people as possible to know about Shinya.
          Writing just happens to be the form of expression that suits me best.

Right now, writing in Japanese means pushing English out of my head. But one day, I hope I can write and translate myself simultaneously—think of all the energy I’ll save!

I learned the phrase 'walk a mile in someone's shoes.'
          I wonder how many thousands of miles I've already walked in Shinya's.

「朝から草むしりをしました」
          Just one short sentence in Japanese...
          And the English version turns into this:
          “This summer heat is crazy—grass grows way too fast! I had to pull weeds again this morning.”
          Japanese is wild. 

In Japanese, "publish" often sounds like something formal and professional.
          But on Wattpad, I can just publish freely, and that makes me really happy.
          Just writing, sharing, connecting — that's what matters!

"Mic test, mic test. It’s currently 16 o’clock in Japan.
          You know, I was once told that 'What time is it now?' sounds like 'Hotta imo iji luna' in Japanese. 
          Just testing this Wattpad activity thing!"
