Hi Readers,
It's been a while! I still haven't caught up to all the comments, but I will!
For Wattpad's 19th anniversary, I have tagged the users I am the closest to and also if you have left me a genuine comment recently, I tried to also tag you in the anniversary. Hint: If I didn't tag you and you leave me a comment on my conversation board before 30-NOV-2025, I will also tag you for the anniversary. I am not sure if we both will win prizes or is it just the tagger? Nineteen years. I wish I joined Wattpad sooner.
I have a lot of random things to write. In the "Better Homes & Gardens" magazine, December 2025 issue, 16% of people read for pleasure. Apparently, that number plummeted 40% from 2003 to 2023. Yes, people don't read anymore, but guess what? A 16% of them still do and it's our job to capture as many of those 16% out there who might be interested in our work. It's not zero so there is still hope, but then I hope our works bring readership back up again. Hearing other people use AI at work to write their communications saddens me. I will always be the do-it-yourself type of person. I was testing with Meta AI though to make videos out of my pictures, which is a bit creepy. My dad can't even tell who is the real me.
I am also a bit sad that the hinge came off of my laptop cover lately so my laptop is kind of broken! What! I'm considering trying to fix it myself with a new hinge or buy a new laptop later. This is crazy that the hinge just came off as I was adjusting my screen angle.
I'm disappointed that the teenfic.net mirror website (caution-spam/info risk) published all my Wattpad works there. I can understand why any author would want to unpublish their work because they post everyone's work there from Wattpad. I'm too broke to start any lawsuit.
Lastly, for readers in the USA, I hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday! I basically had a food coma and well, I had an exhausting day just baking potatoes and sweet potatoes, not even a main dish.
