Arista Sparks

Call me Arista. It is not my real name. The stories I write are typically intense, and they are really my own. I despise plagiarism. If you cannot tolerate strong and twisted characters, jagged lines of right and wrong, and plots with sharp turns, then you won't enjoy what I write. However, if you like tales dripping with honey and poison, fantastic elements of nightmares, and thrilling mysteries to test your imagination, I bow you into my world.

I am young, female (she/her pronouns). A wide-eyed dreamer and lover and thinker. I like chocolate, stars, and extravagance. I write for my own pleasure, to let all this inner madness out into the world so you can eat it all up. INFP/INTJ. 4w5. Slytherclaw. Daughter of Aphrodite. 

I was not born in the United States, but I grew up in Oklahoma. I have always been ambitious, and so are my characters.

Some of my favorite books of all time are the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor and the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. I adore stories of magic, chaos, and complicated love.

What else is there to say?

I love vampires, but I loathe the typical vampire stories. My stories often features fairytale/fantasy creatures both of my own creation and based on legends. I try to keep them at a PG-13 level, but you have to expect vampires to shed blood and Sirens are always a little too vivacious for their own good anyway. I collaborate with AnikaAshbourne from time to time. I don't know if I'll do much of that on here.
