@Ardef38 that's how it was when I was working for McDonalds and Wendy's, they both did the exact same shit. I couldn't work until nights bc of classes and stuff so the managers got mad and I quit because they started treating me like shit. And um srsly thinking about quitting the gas station too, they're doing the same fucking thing :(

@officialskzstan Yeah my boss got mad at me when I told him that I've made plans for many Saturdays in the near future (it was agreed that I would have at least one set day off each week and that is Saturdays so ofc I would make plans surrounding Saturdays like hello?? ) and was mad that I wouldn't cancel my plans to be at work (aka some big concerts like AJR and Niall Horan along with going to a big amusement park) because he didn't wanna have to approve time off requests for one of our busiest days. 
            
            But THEN he tried to gaslight me and say I agreed to work Saturdays (which wasn't true bc I wouldn't agree to work on days that I have plans if time off wasn't agreed on) and he tried to schedule me on a day I wasn't even in town so I told him that whether I'm scheduled or not, I won't be there as I have plans and I would either get the time off approved or id find someone else to cover my shift. 
            
            BUT THEN he refused to come to the compromise of me agreeing to work every Saturday I'm not busy and just not schedule me on the days I have plans. (which honestly isn't much. I haven't asked for time off since September of last year and I figured that after not asking for a single day off in 8 months would make it okay to now ask for 4 days total off of work in a semi-close time frame and he was just not having it.
            
            then he fired me because I "created a hostile working environment" whatever the fuck that means. bosses are ridiculous

@Ardef38 that's basically what's happening at my job :( my manager wants me to work almost every night overnight and I've honestly thought about quitting
