I guess I have always been a writer. I didn't know it though until 7 years ago, when I started a blog because my daughter was born acutely premature--at 23 weeks. 

I never intended to do anything except give friends and family daily updates and ask for prayer. But as my daughter grew and became stronger, the issues and prayer-requests were replaced with my thoughts on God and things I learned about Him over the years. I blogged about my journey of going from wanting nothing to do with Him, to being completely open to Him, to wholeheartedly pursuing Him after the death of my previous baby. 

After my daughter was home from the hospital, people asked me to keep writing. "Hope is My Middle Name" is about our journey through the NICU, but it starts with my journey out of hopelessness. 

Whether you want nothing to do with Him, are in the Great Adventure, or somewhere in between, I hope you will be challenged to trust God through my story....no, His story through me.
