K... When creating new work... I always click skip on first page that comes up...
The media box is to add backdrops ie music or video from Youtube... Or pictures from your device...
Titles must be entered on title line...
Click next after title has been entered...
You will then be in the body of work area...
Once complete there is still the first page to complete before publishing will be allowed...
The more category is where you input type of work (poetry/fiction/random) and of course status (copyright options)...
Give it a while... You'll catch on... If I can... Anyone can...

As far as adding work goes... The pencil icon allows you to continue working on a current collection or piece... It also allows you create new work...
