I should also mention that, in my opinion, 'childish' stories also have a place in literature. Light-hearted entertainment can be endearing, heart-warming, uplifting or even thought-provoking. I mean shounen manga/anime is probably as childish as you can get and yet people much older than the target audience enjoy it anyway. But again, those are just my thoughts. It goes without saying you should be you and do whatever feels right - not that you need to hear that from me ofc. I have no writing talent myself after all I'm more a math guy

No worries, as the author you obv have the right to choose your own standards and uphold them and I totally respect that. Just don't be too hard on yourself!! I absolutely love your writing. Reading some of your other stuff atm in fact - at first I wanted to only read 1 at a time because I get confused easily haha. I honestly consider myself a fan of yours. You have quite the vocabulary and you seem very in touch with your characters. The bio you wrote doesn't do you justice. As a gay guy I am also able to identify with the hardships that you made your characters face - something a lot of writers of the genre neglect - and this makes it feel so much more real. You also don't fall into the trap of over exaggerating dramatic scenes. I could go on and on but I don't want to bore you. Basically just keep at it - I'm sure there are others who feel the same way I do. I should maybe have said something sooner in fact. I'm sure you'll only improve and reach new heights as an artist. Hope I'm not sounding like a smart-ass as I just thought you should know your work is appreciated.
