          Wear those coloured wigs and weaves you’ve always wanted to try. You were told by society  it’s ghetto. You felt it’s immature at one point. You cared too much about what the world thought. The same people who shame black women and call  them ghetto are the same ones who cosplay as you and get praised for it. Wear them without fear.  After all, black girls are made for every colour.
          
          Wear as many rings as you want to. Let them shine with the acrylics adorning your nails. Bright pink, yellow, neon green or black? All with jewels? Whatever you desire.  You my dear, were never one to be in a box. You’re much too extraordinaire. 
          
          Twerk as much as you want, sing your heart out as much as you want, wear the longest braids or faux locs you wish to. Get those tattoos, pierce the places you want to. Write those stories. Do what you love. It’s times for you to be happy.
          
          As you go on your journey, don’t be afraid to glow. 
          
          Let go of your fears. 
          
          Hoping to see a different, happy, joy filled with beams of beauty radiating from the inside version of you one day. Your mind and I will love that.

Black people really don’t matter. Do you know how infuriating and mind boggling it is to protest about your own life and every other that looks like you because their being taken away, shot, accused and murdered? Only then for everyone else to start this all lives matter bull crap. 
          
          A black person gets murdered in cold blood. What do people do? Dissect the situation because yes you’re going to find a fault in said person to justify their life being taken away. Do you know what it’s like to be outraged yet numb because you’re used to your own kind being killed since umpteen centuries ago? 
          
          Black people lives are lost so easily. They’re accused so easily. They’re beaten so easily. And people will say the dumbest, rudest things to say at black people when they protest and speak out against racism and police brutality. News outlets dumb it down. Social media bans your content for speaking out. 
          
          Fuck every single one of you. 

I know when I don’t belong, and where I don’t belong. I don’t need much to tell me. I don’t need much at all. 

To whom it may concern, 
          
          At this point and maybe for a while, I will not be writing. My one shot collection is postponed until further notice. I’m all kinds of  messed up. However, who knows, maybe I might actually post something? I’m not sure that will happen. We shall see.
