This is the hard part, right? Writing something about yourself.  I guess I should start with the obvious - hi, my name is Amy.

I have always loved to write and for as long as I can remember I have been filling up books with words and stories.  I adore drawing as well - there's just something sort of magical and blissful about being able to create and escape into worlds that can be beautiful or tormented; entirely what you want them to be.  I don't often let people read my pieces though, so I guess this will be a good way to see what people think.

Most of my stuff is shorter pieces; almost 'you make up the beginning and the end and I'll just describe this bit in the middle' - very open ended, focusing just on small sections.  I really want to work on a longer project, and I figured this would be a good place to start out.  So here goes.
