I *always* read descriptions. Aren't they peculiar? You tell a person, 'Hey, you know your entire existence? We're giving you 2000 characters for it, go.' 

It is SO hard to talk about yourself for 2000 whole characters whilst simultaneously holding back your entire life story. What do I say? Do I tell you how much I love musicals? Or coming of age TV? Or custard creams? (They are by far the most superior biscuit, don't fight me on this.)

I guess a pretty good strategy is to play it safe and keep it simple. So here goes.

Hey, my name is Alice. I'm 15 and I live in England, which makes insufferably hormonal AND British, which is NOT a pleasant combination. And I'm a nymphomaniac. (I'm not a nymphomaniac, I'm a compulsive liar.)

And there you have it! It's short, sweet and with all the information you need (along with a cheeky reference to 'The Breakfast Club.') What more could you need? Oh, yeah. A decent personality. Ugh.
