@Emmalee_Sky thanks, you helped a lot :) and I really love your stories! Yours were some of the first that I read, if I'm not mistaken :p

Aw! That's so sweet. Thank you! Fan-fiction did help me establish a steady following, but I'm trying to spread out with original works. It's hard, but I'm working on it.

I'm glad I was helpful. It's nice to have someone when you're starting up with stories. Hope it goes well :)

@Emmalee_Sky thanks! Yea... Sorry for spamming you :( I am on my iPod and the reply button wasn't being compliant. Sorry to bother you and thanks so much for your help!

Emmalee_Sky

You weren't spamming. Spamming is more like asking someone to read your work even if you don't talk to them. And never ask someone to read your work on their stories. That's not nice. You were asking for advice. That's fine. I understand. Heck, I respect that. Most people, myself included in the beginning, just went on the old SYS forums and did read for reads or comments for comments. You can't do that anymore, and I'm actually thankful because of it. Without it, I've made friends and we share our works with each other. So, chat it up with everyone :D

It's okay. Just remember to press reply under the comment and it'll make sure the person you're commenting to will receive it.

As to tips, write what you enjoy writing. It takes time. Make sure your grammar and writing is consistent. Reading others works, comment on theirs. Make friends, that'll help a lot. Don't spam people. People don't like that. Write what you like is probably the best advice. Write for yourself, write for those followers and friends you have on here that support you no matter what. It takes time :)
