Hello!
It has been a LONG hiatus for me on Wattpad. A lot has happened in the past few years, from university to now finishing my MA.
Though my academics have been where I’ve dedicated most of my time, that does not mean I’ve forgotten about The First Queen. It is and forever will be my pride and joy. If you follow the storyboard on Pinterest, then you know I’m adding to it now and again. Also, I am trying to edit and rework the original piece that you see on Wattpad with the hope to have that published one day.
So here’s what I’ve got planned:
The Wattpad version that you see now of The First Queen - written in a first-person POV, will remain on Wattpad until the time comes that someone wants to help me publish the reworked version I am currently working on.
The reworked version is in the third person POV, and it follows the same plot, just with a bit more description and additional scenes.
Once the reworked version is completed, I will put up a few chapters to offer all of you a sense of the retouches I’ve made.
Needles to say this message is very much overdue and I will try and be a bit more active on Wattpad when I have time. Rest assured that I am working on The First Queen, and Eleanor’s story is far from done.
For new and current readers who have been following and reading The First Queen, I want to say thank you for giving me your time to tell you a story that came to me as I wrote each chapter, the characters and places growing on me with each paragraph as I hope they have grown on you. I started writing The First Queen in 2015, and now in 2021, the tale still continues.
Thank you all for reading this, and I can’t wait to share the reworked, and hopefully published, The First Queen with you in the future.
