A few years back, my then-boyfriend (now husband) and I were made redundant from our graphic design jobs in London, UK at exactly the same time. Rather than weep and worry about how to pay the mortgage, we decided to ‘up sticks’ and do a ski season in Canada. It was the best decision we’ve made yet and inspired my first novel. ‘Fraser Mountain’ is the book I always wanted to read, but could never find. I get so much pleasure from writing and immersing myself in a good book always makes me happy, particularly when there’s some great romance in it ☺
