I have been  a computer consultant for many years beginning as a programmer at IBM.  I wrote a computer column in the Berkshire Eagle (Pittsfield MA) for 15 years.  Besides the books and short stories listed here, I have had two books for non-techs on technical subjects.  One was "Plain English Guide to Your PC" written in the 1990's and  "The Year 2000 Hoax"  published right before the millennium.
I have two sons who live in the NYC area.  I live with my wife in the Berkshires in western Massachusetts.
