i started a book, it was cute and made me giggle. only to realise that down the line into the series it devolves into a reverse harem romance and i don't think i'm built for that trope.

I was taking someone's order at work and she goes "no cheese."
          
          So I ask: Is that no nacho cheese or no cheddar cheese?

I feel like modern day art in any shape or form will never advance until we stop rewarding mediocrity. With literature, for example, it seems to be the most bottom of barrel books that should have never made it past the author's laptop that get published and become best sellers. If the metric to become a successful artist is to be somewhat not absolutely terrible, while overshadowing actually great pieces of art, then I'm afraid we'll be stuck in this limbo of bad portrayed as great art.
