I am a fantasy fanatic. I write fantasy adventure which is heavily plot based. I try to write mystery but I always end up giving the game away before I want to...

I write the way I like to be lead into a novel - action first but only enough to get the readers attention before I add detail and start the story properly. Bit of suspense never hurt anybody... except maybe the author when the readers finally get hold of him/her.

I've several poems posted too. Two of which were published in the Poetry Rivals Collection in years 2010 and 2011 titled "Forest by the Sun" and "A love for Life"...

I'm a plot fanatic, I brainstorm, make connections where there wasnt any planned, reference back to point I'd forgotten I'd made etc... I'm an over thinker basically and thats my curse more than it is my gift. I never seem to be able to finish anything because of it. I'm counting on the readers of this website to boost my will power to fight my inner pedantic editor.

I'm a voluteer proofreader too but I do tend to forget that I have projects I'm proofreading for others, I need a kick quite often to remind me.

My original novel that I've been working on for 9 yrs now is a trilogy called The Lost Apprentice and I'm using a program called Newnovelist3 to plan it all out, work out my chapters and my characters and to basically see it in pieces as well as a whole project. I do reccomend it for the intermediate to beginners levels of writing.
