          Hey all, AWP here.
          
          It has recently come to my attention that there have been some changes to the story review policies on this site that may not totally jive with my stories. As such, I will be migrating permanently over the next week or so to Ao3. You can find my works here: https://archiveofourown.org/users/A_Whole_Person/works
          
          Warning: there is some… spicy… content, so keep that in mind as you browse.
          
          It doesn’t make sense to keep KANE and the original book 1 and the book 1 rewrite going when all I have on the Ao3 page is the rewrite; so I will NOT be porting over those two. I will keep them on this account and make backups in case they disappear.
          
          I hope to see you guys on there, but please do refrain from spoiling book 1 as I continue to update the rewrite.

Going to start working on KANE again, alongside the rewrite, bc a friend recently reminded me that I can do whatever I want forever; and my lil blorbos need more story

BOOK 1 REWRITE
          
          Hey thanks for clicking on the notification, it means a lot. 
          
          I’m rewriting book 1 of Determination. I’ve grown unhappy with how it represents the story, but I will keep it up as a trophy of my impact and as a measure of how far I’ve come. It is the dearest thing to me I’ve ever written.
          
          But tbh it’s kinda mid atm. So, I’m redoing it better. Everything you remember from the first book is cannon; y’know the magic system, the gods, the saucy charisk times are all still 99% the same cringy goodness you’ve come to know and love, but all the small stuff like the spelling errors, plot holes, and inconsistent tone  and writing style are all going to be ironed out.
          
          If I have to write the rest of the series based on a mid first draft, then the rest of the series is going to suffer because of it. I’ve posted notice chapters in the og book 1 and the start of the new book 1 detailing the change, but I figured I’d make an announcement about it all, too.
          
          Even if you’ve read book 1 in its entirety (I think abt 30 of you), I recommend you go and read the rewrite, as I know y’all aren’t the biggest fans of Kane atm and I still want to provide the pure charisk content you signed up for in reading my 16 hour novel.
          
          Anyways, I’ve got rewriting to do, so I’m going to go do that.

3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF DETERMINATION! 
          
          On this day, March 9th, 2020, I published chapter 1 of Determination, my Charisk fannovel. It is easily the poorest written chapter of the whole thing, but it’s special to me. I had been spitballing my story ideas with my friend, @kaelawrites2206, for a few weeks while I was getting the feel for being a fanfic author (cringe, ik, but it’s a solid hobby), and I finally bit the bullet and wrote chapter 1, 2, and I think maybe 3 in one day. I only published 1, Bc I wanted to publish one chapter a week (that didn’t work out at all lol).
          
          But 997 days later, I published the Epilogue and Afterword, and I vowed never to edit such a blursed work of art again.
          
          I’m very proud of how far I’ve come, and how much I’ve grown. And I’m proud of how much you all have grown, too. I see you, guys, gals, and non-binary pals. And you’re beautiful.
