Hey, just wanted to let you guys know that I burned my thumb really bad yesterday and it might take a second before I update any story, which I plan to be An Anomaly.

Hey everyone! I do want to apologize for taking so long to upload anything, but I do have something to make up for it.
          
          I did mention in my last post that I had a Patreon and that I was going to be posting my own works on there. Well, it’s one whole month later and I finally have something. An intro to the very first book I’m writing and I want to share it with you!

          Anyway, to piggyback off that, I did also want to say that I have a chapter ready for An Anomaly, but I do have to proofread it first and it’s late, so I’m going to go to bed before I do. So, don’t expect it till late afternoon tomorrow, possibly midnight/next day depending on your time zone.
          
          I do also want to apologize for taking so long. I thought I would have it ready earlier, but I got caught up in writing some original stuff and planning out the future of An Older Rose more. 
          
          But, that’s about it. I’m unbelievably hyped that RWBY is finally rising from the ashes like a phoenix and I can’t wait for Volume 10. I know it might be a year, maybe longer, before we get it, but still.

Hello everyone! I have an announcement to make and I am extremely nervous about it. So, to rip off the bandaid, here it is.
          
          I now have a Patreon.
          
          Now, I do feel the need to state that any of my fanfics, now and in the future, will not be posted on there for paid members only. It is illegal to sell fanfiction and I do not feel comfortable with doing that sort of thing as it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. My fanfics will always be available on the platforms that I post on, that being AO3, FFN, and here on Wattpad at the time they are updated and no later.
          
          However, I have been very transparent with my dream to become a writer. So, when I finally start working on my original works, I will use my Patreon to post some exclusive stuff on there. As for what that might entail… well, I have some ideas, but nothing is concrete as of right now.
          
          If you decide that you wanna support me, despite not having anything to offer right now, then I thank you from the very depths of not just my heart, but my soul. It means the world to me that anyone would even read my work, let alone give me money over it. And please don’t feel pressured to do so either. This is important to me, but your first priority should always be yourself.
          
          Regardless, I appreciate the support thus far. Without you, I doubt I would’ve even made it to this point and I still don’t know if this is the right course of action, but actions must be taken, even if you don’t want too.
          
          That’d be all from me. I will have a chapter out for either An Anomaly or An Older Rose by next week at the latest, this I promise you.

Yo, you still kicking? 

Hello. I am posting this to let everyone know that I have tested positive for COVID-19 and, as such, will not be writing anytime soon. It was a good run of three years, but stuff happens and you won’t always have control over it.
          
          Some context as to how this may have happened, someone in my household did test positive several weeks ago and I guess, despite me having kept my distance, I caught it anyway. Maybe from something that they had touched or maybe I was exposed for one second and that was all it took, I don’t really know.
          
          That brings us up to yesterday, where I had something going on with my throat. The only reason I knew this was because my voice had sounded way deeper than it normally is. However, believing this to just be something like a sore throat or loosing my voice, I disregarded it and shrugged it off.
          
          Fast forward to 3am today, when I woke up. Every part of my body hurt, I was burning hot, and I was so tired that I couldn’t even get out of bed. Believing this to just be waking pains, as they disappeared an hour later, I again shrugged it off. Until about 6am, when all those symptoms had returned tenfold. That’s when I knew something was wrong and my grandma, bless her, contacted the clinic where I live despite my protests that I was fine and that I didn’t need to know what I had. Obviously, you can tell how that went.
          
          Sorry for not being able to update, but like I stated, it’s hard for me to even get out of my bed, let alone focus for hours at a time.

To all of those following me and An Older Rose, the only story I am currently updating, I might put it on hold for a bit. A bunch of family drama broke out tonight and my mom pretty much said I was disowned. Didn’t say it exactly, but implied it. I don’t know if I’ll just take out any emotions I have in writing my writing or not, so I figured I’d let y’all know. We’ll see in the following week.
