Dear Wattpad Community,
I hope this message finds you well. Today, I come bearing both a heavy heart and a profound decision that has not been arrived at lightly. After much contemplation, I have decided to unpublish all of my stories, including Futurama, a project that has been the culmination of six years of passion, dedication, and love.
As a writer, my journey on Wattpad has been filled with dreams of acknowledgment, motivation, and the warmth of reader love. I embarked on this path with the hope that my words would resonate with you, inspire you, and perhaps offer a momentary escape from the realities of life. However, the reality I face now is one of prolonged waiting, unmet expectations, and a sense of stagnation.
I joined Wattpad with the anticipation that my stories would find their way into the hearts of readers, that they would be discovered and appreciated. Regrettably, that anticipation has not manifested as I hoped. The views on my stories have primarily come from friends or after pleading for attention, and the growth, both as a writer and in terms of readership, remains elusive.
I've waited, hoping for that breakthrough moment when my work would be acknowledged, when it would receive the attention it deserves. Sadly, that moment has not arrived. As much as I've tried to navigate the system, it seems my efforts have fallen short, and the recognition I sought remains elusive.
Therefore, with a heavy heart, I've decided to unpublish my stories after the Amby Awards. I want to give them the chance to shine in an environment where growth and support are not constrained.
I plan to republish Rainbow and Futurama Part 1 around the time of Watty 2024. I believe in the potential of these stories, and I hope that, in due time, they will find the readership and acknowledgment they deserve.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. Your support has meant the world to me, and I look forward to the day when these stories, now dormant, can bloom once more.
