What's some of your guys'favorite moments in my stories? Genuinely curious if a certain character moment line or action caused you to go crazy over it? Really curious to find out.

AKAustinTTV

@IcyHotjin-woo yep I had that one brewing for awhile that he wasn't the "real" him and that he was actually the Shadow/Persona. I knew that would have given a lot of people wtf is going on.

So apparently there's news that Volume 10 of Rwby might be in the works based on some videos. Saying that the original cast and crew will be back to work on it.

All I can say is, they had to ASK people to # to greenlit Volume 10 which never took off cause barely anyone did it. When the DC crossover happened, no one watched it/barely anyone liked it in the first place.

WB has been fumbling hard with a lot of stuff and I think the only reason they believe they can let a Volume 10 be even possible is to pretty much control the whole thing and make as much money as they can no matter what it comes out as. Which is laughable considering that the views for Volume 9 were a fraction of their best viewed volumes. I don't think much more people will stick around to wait a year or 2 for a volume that might be the final and rushed to holy hell.

Even most die hard toxic weirdos have been fighting each other and leaving for a lot of reasons I've seen. I will guarantee that the budget and funding for the volume will probably be not high considering that the sales and numbers for RWBY as a whole has dropped significantly. It's literally not even in pre-production and is in the discussion phase. Which means it still needs to be approved, contracts, and planning before it can be greenlit.

Also why give it to people who have ruined/tarnished the entire franchise for years-oh wait its WB, they are always making terrible fucking decisions.

@AKAustinTTV I thought WB let Roosterteeth go? And vol 10 would have had to get green lit by Crunchyroll in the end.

@AKAustinTTV honestly at this point the only thing I wanna know about RWBY is who the heck was the Summer Maiden gonna be. I had a couple of ideas on what they could have been.

I have posted the final chapter of my Persona story this far. I guess you can call it the last chapter of the Season. Gives me some space for now but I wanted to leave it off around the half way point/an interesting part of the story. It won't be for sometime but I did a lot for it so it's time I settle down on it.

AKAustinTTV

I'll be posting 1 chapter a week for my Final Fantasy 7 Remake/Rebirth stories on Wednesday. The chapters will be much longer because of it than normal so it holds a lot more to it.

I don't want to bog myself down with a lot of it so I'm doing it this way

AKAustinTTV

I think I'll save a future discussion about the first 3 volumes and how they were perfect in building the story and characters and how that got ruined over time as the series continued overall. I'll probably write it in my update book as a long discussion and feel free to discuss in the comments and I'll respond with my takes.

But yeah if we had more volumes like Volume 1 and 2 and the early parts of Volume 3 that gave us more to the world without throwing us in the deep end, this could have maybe grown even bigger and possibly had more sentimental value to me at least.

Looking back on it all it seriously seems like a lot of creative choices did get in the way because they needed to do something and what they did over time just got worse and worse to the point it died.

I'll let you guys know when I'll start that discussion.

@AKAustinTTV exactly. Monty would've vouched for Vic

@TheLivingVendetta Vic was mistreated by everyone in the biz. Monty loved Vic and I think he would have at least given him a chance to prove his innocence and held back on any actions against him when the allegations happened but honestly idk, Monty was a friendly guy so I'm sure it would have been awful for him regardless. Just a shame after everything and after his passing too.

@AKAustinTTV doesn't help that they fired Vic Mignogna, a man who MONTY HIMSELF hired

I just wanted to say it's pretty hilarious to see some people have made accounts on Twitter with names like "Save Rwby" and others that are the same. If the last # that RT asked them to do failed so hard on its face how do they think their wasteful efforts are gonna do in "reviving" Rwby. They have the audacity to start bringing back topics or discussions about Grimm Eclipse which was trash. Then some have started to talk about Ice Queendom when they probably hated it or rather didn't watch it thinking it meant something to them now that Rwby is officially dead.

It's just funny seeing even some comparing both Ice Queendom and the original side by side and saying the original is better thinking that they are farming a nice discussion which is laughable. Why even bring it up just to say the original is better. (Imo ice queendom had the potential to revive RWBY the way it should have been but poor reception/Rwby watchers being so unaccepting of ice queendom it pretty much went nowhere even though it presented concepts that were way more interesting.)

Rwby chibi was the last and only good thing to come from Rwby and that's because it didn't have a barely cohesive plot that wasn't trying to shit on its characters every single chance they could for the sake of that one "fandom", it could have been a much better show.

Someone pointed something out that if the whole end of the world and super villain Salem and Maidens didn't exist we probably would have had a much better show, and honestly looking back I realized that is so true. We don't need a huge plot that makes our characters be set in such a situation. I would have much preferred a journey or more time in the academy before they graduate or have to go out on missions and help people. To me it felt rushed beyond reason and gave no time for anything to develop. So yes, I agree that the plot of Salem and forcing the characters into such a darker tone of a setting inevitably hurt the overall narrative and experience.

@Warlord-Dregon yeah you ain't wrong there. Writing my fanfics were tough post volume 3 as I had to keep it interesting in adding stuff while trying to connect to the story set. In the end it gave me massive burn out and lost of interest

Why do you think 90% of fanfics are set before the second half of volume 3?
