Hello! No, I'm not dead! (Just deeply overwhelmed by work, and family shit, and trying to move, and more work, and being sick, and.... Etc.) But anyway, I've got some good news and bad news... 
          
          Bad news is that I will unfortunately have to take The Messenger down. I don't want to, believe me, but part of my contract with my publisher states that I cannot have my book published anywhere else. So legally, down it must come. :'( I know, it breaks my heart. But fear not!
          
          Good news is... *drum roll*
          The Messenger is officially in print and is now available for sale!! Woo! I've put the links on my about page under my very dull description of myself! It's $18.28 on Amazon, last I checked (free shipping, non-prime). And you can also get it directly from Dorrance; it's $18 for the paperback and $13 for the ebook! So I'm super excited about that! Thanks again for all your love, silent as most of it was. It means a lot to me.❤️

So... I promise I did start on the third Unofficial Case File. I've got the prologue written and the first chapter started, but... I'm sort of going through a personal mini-crisis right now, and I can't focus on anything. I open up the document and find myself rereading what I've already written over and over again. When I create a fresh one, I just end up staring blankly at that stupid blinking cursor. If I didn't know better, I'd say the thing was mocking me.
          
          In any case, I guess you could say I'm going on hiatus for a while, just so I can try and sort out some stuff. I'll try not to be gone too long, but I don't know how that's going to go.

For those of you reading my Unofficial Case Files (ie: The Messenger and Trouble School), I'm rethinking my cover for Trouble School. I'm sure you don't usually look at my Sounding Board (which is a random little 'share my ideas with you' thing I've got on here), but I would love it if you'd take a look at it. I just updated a part asking you guys about my cover for Trouble School, and I want to get your opinions! Even if you only read the last part of my Sounding Board, I'd still really appreciate it!
