Powers: Solomon Grundy has super-human strenght, stamina and invulnerability. He's also been granted immortaliy through the mystical energies of Slaughter Swamp. Whenever his body is destroyed, Grundy's massive brute form is able to rise from the dead, though he often returns with varying levels of intelligence. 

Fun Fact: Grundy has pale gray skin and smells like swamp water. 

Story: Solomon Grundy was once an evil merchant named Cyrus Gold. When Gold's murdered body was thrown into Slaughter Swamp, supernatural forces turned him into a zombie-like creature. Now as the brutish Solomon Grundy, he has turned to a life of crime, but often ends up being used by those smarter than him.

Smart Solomon: After being reborn with a high level of intelligence, Grundy enlisted Professor Ivo to help him steal Red Tornado's body and turn it into a form which he could live forever. When the JLA foiled Grundy's plans, he demolished them. Little did he know they would return to destroy him.
