            The fixer nodded intently, matching the slayer's expression. « I've been brushing shoulders with fate at ludicrous speeds before I touched a gun for the first time... As much as I wanna say that it was terrifying, part of me couldn't get enough of the rush... »
            
            « Ahh, okay... Now /that/ would be unsettling. » Skye let out a quiet sigh, a slight chill climbing up to her shoulders, forcing her to shrug it off. Soon enough, she was back to normal, though her gaze hasn't let Ivy's eyes at all. In that shared quiet trance, that ounce of nervousness washed away, like it never happened. A small smile formed up once more. « Don't mention it... it's what I do. »

                 “If you say so, blue. Don’t say I didn’t warn you—first time I went down there, I nearly pissed myself from how bad it was,” she said with a crooked grin, folding her arms and shifting her weight to one side. “Who knows, maybe you’ll run into a few of your old rivals while we’re at it. Though, I’m guessing they’ve turned into mindless fodder by now.” Ivana joked lightly, tilting her head back but never breaking eye contact with the fixer. There was something about her that kept the slayer’s gaze locked, almost like she was caught in a quiet trance, taking in every detail. “Besides,” she added with a faint smirk, “I’ve got to spoil my favorite person every now and then. You’ve had my back more times than I can count—you’ve earned a little something in return.”

            « I've witnessed worse... Shouldn't be that much different. » The cyanette mumbled, using a hand to wipe the visor clean. Though she said that with a small, dissonant smirk of confidence. When Ivana mentioned treating her out, the pilot couldn't help but burst out into a small laugh. « Hey, if you tempt me with free ice cream, then you might have to start keeping score. » After the cyanette found the helmet visor clean enough, she then decided to attach it to her belt.

            « That's great. » She raised up from her position, turning around to see the mask maker sprawling the pieces at the wooden counter. « Hm... great minds think alike, it seems. » Skye let out a snort and cracked a small smile in response as if she just correctly answered a trivia question.

"That I shouldn't have to fix it."  He said a tiny bit softer than before (but still sounding a bit harsh). He collected the pieces and rose from his spot on the floor. Then, he moved over to the wooden counter. The fragments were placed onto it. "Kintsugi... is what that's called. It's exactly what I was going to do."

            « Your point being?... » Skye leaned down next to the mask maker who was just picking up the pieces. The racer didn't quite understand why he seemed to make a big deal out of this, but /felt/ like he cared a lot about his craft. « I lost a good mug like this back when I was racing... You know, I heard this trick in which you could put the pieces back together with a lacquer mixed with gold to mend the cracks. some people argue it's an art form. »
