Eli had left their rental apartment hours earlier, holding a blue reusable coffee cup which, when they left, did have some homemade ice coffee, but, they chugged it all. So they were looking for a place to get another, they were shaking slightly due to their anxiety, they looked both ways before they left the sidewalk, except there had been a blind spot, a car was barreling down the street toward her. His eyes widened as they let out a loud scream, before they closed shut, hands moving over her ears as they awaited impact

Eli shook heavily as they stood there in horror, the top half of their white blue tipped hair tied out of the way in multiple braids, bottom half down, fringe bangs atop their forehead. (like the one photo in the book). As they had suddenly been lifted up off the ground away from the vehicle that had been barrelling toward him, yelping as she opened her eyes, arms moving to hold on to who had just saved her, stumbling back slightly as they had returned to the ground, swallowing dryly before glancing around, “how-… how d-did you just do that?” He whispered “I- think I’m okay?” They whispered again, glancing down at themselves, long sleeved cotton sweater, a purple leather shoulder bag that rested at his hip, as well as black shorts that reached their mid thigh, blue knee high socks with two purple stripes at the top of each sock, back Mary Jane shoes.

XD Meanwhile Clark was up in the air somewhere, listening for anyone that could be in danger. So when he heard their scream he flew towards them, grabbing them and flying out of the way. After a moment he let him go, taking a small step back away from her. "Are you alright?" He was sure it must have been a pretty scary experience, he's just glad he was able to save them in time.
