@-pinkwalk SKIPPING LECTURES? Don't make me book a ticket just to shake you -_-) And yeah that's really different here, I couldn't imagine spending a whole year in paid classes just to have them not count. Over here we use the first 2 years to get the majority of our prerequisites and general classes out of the way, and some people use those first year classes to figure out their major, although that's not as common since we usually declare a major when applying. I get the lack of structure though, it's so easy to slip into apathy because no one's holding you accountable anymore. That alone adds to the stress. I went from thinking "only 5 classes? Please I used to take 8 every day in high school" to "Oh shit I'm taking 5 whole classes and I'm about to fail half of them if I don't gather my braincells back together"

@Mochi711 nothing happened, im just a dramatic bitch lmao. everythings good, im quite behind in content cos im always skipping lectures and i found out i failed a module but tbh i couldnt care less. i just have to resit the exam in august, but as long as i dont fail my other modules i'll be ok. and anyway idk how the US is with uni but in the UK your first year doesn't count towards your final grade when you graduate, so even if i just pass with a 3rd class it wont affect anything in the long run. second year is when everything gets serious. but on a good note i did pass one module, 58% tho so its a 2:2 but still its something. i just need to actually study cos i keep skiving
