still not sure when the next chapter will be out (since i need to edit and work on more chapters so i know the general plan of how i want the s2 plotline to go) but here is a little sneak peek. some serena and jj tension:
          
          
          Kiara slowly drove after Gavin, being careful not to get too close so he wouldn't get suspicious. As she did, Serena shifted uncomfortably in her seat since she was now in between two men who kept man-spreading.
          
          "Can you guys please close your legs?" Serena begged. "Now I'm feeling claustrophobic."
          
          "Uh, I kinda need to do it," JJ pointed out as he turned to her. Serena realized that that was the first thing he had said directly to her since leaving school.
          
          Serena gave him a look, already fed up with how he had been treating her lately. ‘You know what? I'm tired of being so nice when he's been a complete dick.’ "You don't need to do it. You're just making that up," she shot back.
          
          JJ gaped at her, hesitating for a moment before he said, "I-I'm not making that up, I seriously need—"
          
          "No, you don't need to—!"
          
          "Yes, I do!"
          
          "No, you don't!"
          
          "Yes, I—"
          
          "Guys, he's talking!" Pope interrupted them quickly as Kiara and Rowan sent them warning looks. Serena and JJ gave each other one last glare before they both crossed their arms and looked forward.
