depth, and i pray you forgive me for that.
are you still writing such sentimental poetry
for your lover? i doubt anything could bring
the two of you apart, i envy the depth of your
love, so visible in the letters of your poetry.
perhaps, one day, another can understand
the depths of mine own soul. until then, i will
remain in the silence of solitude, and write
with these bloodied hands that have long
torn out my vitality, but still will it beat
fondly for my friends, for you.
