            The male never minded the children running off, it would've been a different story on why he'd be looking for one if some of the children hadn't discovered the secret. He had to stay alert. "I'm not sure." He answered, looking forward as he continued walking. They'd all thought about escaping at some point even if it was just a single thought, but no one's ever succeeded, there was no hope. He snapped out of his train of thought with a flinch when the taller male brought him closer, he wasn't as hyper and affectionate towards Nagito like when they were children so he didn't expect to be touched, that's the one thing that changed. "I'd never get tired of you, my apologies for seeming so distant." He never understood why Nagito tried to raise his spirits.. it was pointless, yet it always worked.

            Following close by, he looked over his shoulder as the children and the plant got smaller before looking forward again. The children had been running off often, it was mostly the older ones as well. “ What do you think their doing? “ He asked, looking at the ground. Sometimes it slipped the males mind that he had once thought of running away, he forgot a lot about those days that he’d spend wandering how to get beyond the wall. With some hesitation, Nagito had placed a hand on Izuru’s back, sliding it up to his shoulder and pulling him a bit closer. “ Don’t be so distant, you’re not getting tired of me just yet. “ Even throughout the years, he had always been trying to brighten the mood, just to see Izuru’s eyes light up even just a little.

            Izuru walked after him, keeping his eye on the tracker. "Alright." The ravenette nodded, putting the device back in his pocket as it was no longer needed, he could remember things quickly afterall. His red eyes glistened in the sun as he stared at the children, he loved each and every one of them dearly.. but he knew what their fates would be. "Let's go now." His calm voice said, beginning to walk in the forest. As the mother of this plant he wasn't allowed to show sadness, grief, nothing, nor could he even properly show it anyway. But he couldn't help but cry late into nights and be awake even before the bell rings.
