            The Winter Soldier looked at her. “Get up.” He said bluntly, “Don’t mourn your failure. Strive for it to turn into success. Falling on your knees won’t help you achieve anything.” He still looked at her with an emotionless gaze.

She smiled snuggling him. "You're the best big brother ever. Mama and Dad would be so proud of you, you've always been my hero."

            He smiled softly as he kept comforting the little girl. “Well, a promise is a promise. I can never break a promise even if it takes me a while to fulfill it.” He said softly, in a comforting tone.

She smiled, refusing to pull away from him. "I knew you weren't dead. I begged them to keep looking for you, but they wouldn't. You promised me that you would come back, and you did..."

"Because you know very little about me. I remember you having to learn about your superiors, am I correct?"
