            you feel the urge to talk to them randomly throughout the day. sometimes random things might remind you of them and cause you to go "oh, i remember they told me something having to do with this." you may feel the urge to know more about them, and when they compliment you it feels like you're on cloud nine. they just make you happy in a different way than others and when you're with them, you realize how much you love, well, the two of you, and just being around them in general. you want to make memories with them and imagine all the things you could do together, envisioning possible scenarios and fantasizing about them. it's different for everyone but this is the surface level of my experience at least, and i could go on and on about this if needed :)

            not sure what is it like, although i know some core keys to it: you start to always try and impress them subconsciously. you ‘long for them’ in a way & your heart aches at the thought of them. if you’re best friends with your crush— you always want to spend time with them (more so than normal) and create really special/memorable events or places.
