Okay so apparently Wattpad has shadowbanned my fanfiction ... For three days now all rankings of "lover/fighter" have completely disappeared, my story is entirely invisible and can only be found directly via my profile. To be honest, I've reached a point where Wattpad just annoys and frustrates me. I used to love this app because I started reading fanfiction here and had to watch it all slowly fall apart until the whole thing degenerated into what we have now. I think it's time to admit that Wattpad is no longer a place for fanfiction, at least not for anyone who wants to write it. I posted my story here anyway because I thought it couldn't hurt but now I'm starting to regret it, also because I keep wondering what's coming next and I'm already expecting Wattpad to stop this project altogether before I can even finish it. I'm not going to stop uploading chapters here, but I'd like to point out that I've also uploaded my work to Ao3 and will be crossposting to FanFiction.net from now on as well. So if Wattpad ever gets tired of me, or I of it, whichever happens first, those who are genuinely interested in my writing can read it there too, without all the hassle and drama.

I just wanted to get all that off my chest.
Now I hope that I can get rid of the shadowban quickly and that no further problems arise. If you've read the new chapter despite the invisibility, let me know what you thought of it and have an enjoyable weekend.

I love the way that you don't write rhea being different as an obnoxious thing. a lot of the fanfics I've read where there's a capitolite as the mc I've had to drop bc the way they write the person is somehow so forced? like they focus too much on the character being different that they don't really give them a personality.

the way you've written rhea is so amazing bc like she's just here, the way that people realize she's different is natural, and it's not because she's doing some huge grand gesture it's because she's just being herself.

rhea is just a really well written character imo and you should really be proud of your work here.

@cat_banana_ Thank you so much. I really put a lot of love and thought into my OCs and am overjoyed that I seem to have succeeded in getting others to like these characters as much as I do. I really wanted to give the Capitol and the people there a bit more depth, because we know that not everyone in the Capitol is inherently bad. We see it in Effi or Cinna and I think that part of the Capitol is quite underrepresented. I just saw a lot of potential for a good story there, for a "two people from different worlds" scenario, some hate to love, forbidden romance in a way. Basically a bunch of clichés, but I tried to make it halfway realistic somehow.
