At the very end of Kali Yug, when Kali Purush has spread his dominion across every corner of the world, the last flickers of dharma are about to vanish. But in the midst of the darkness, a devout couple secretly preserves their worship. Blessed with a daughter, they learn she is destined by the prophecy of the Rishis-to be the protector who shall one day stand alongside Bhagwan Kalki during the great war to end adharma. But if she remains in the tainted Kali Yug, she will be consumed by the poison of the age. On their Guru's command, the parents risk everything, performing a secret yagna in the hidden caves of Girnar Parvat. Through tapasya, mantra, and divine intervention, they open a portal to Dwapar Yug-the age where Krishna still walks the earth. There, the child is placed under Krishna's guidance to be prepared for her destiny.

In the old legends, Draupadi and Arjun had a daughter named Pragathi but no proof of her existence is available. This story is based on her. Pragathi disappeared when she was barely one year old from the palace of Indraprastha and no one had found her since. And now about 20 years later, just when the Pandavas had returned from exile, Pragathi, now 21 years old, appears in Aryavrat. Maira Khan was an orphan who grew up in one of the biggest Orphanages in New York. The matron was a kindly muslim lady who had adopted her, unofficially, when she was 3 and now she was a special agent at the FBI, quite an achievement for someone so young. Her life was going as it always was when one day a call came. A hostage situation at a bank, a rescue gone wrong and now she found herself thousand of years in the past, with people and things she thought only existed in myths. ------------------------ DISCLAIMER: I would like to say that I mean no harm or disrespect to Hindu religion and literature by this story. Suddenly, her gaze shifted to a flower on a branch a little to her side. Velvety black petals opened to reveal a burst of royal blue, like the transition from evening to night. Attracted by the flower, she walked over and reached up, straining to reach the unique flower. Though she stood on her toes, she was still unable to reach the flower and pouted in disappointment. Two arms snaked around her waist and the princess of Panchal found herself lifted off the ground. She gasped, turning backwards to see Nakul with his arms around her waist, and her four other husbands grinning up at them from a distance.
