The others don't understand, even threaten to shun them...but can Bilbo stand up for the one he loves, and the only love that he's ever understood? Thorin Oakenshield is dead. Bilbo Baggins returned to the Shire but was never the same. He came to fall in love with the Dwarven King but never had a chance to tell him. The ring calls to him, begs him to be used once again. Bilbo can't handle being alone anymore, much like his hobbit hole, his heart and mind were much too quiet. Then Bilbo does the unthinkable. Anything to get his beloved King back. But every deal comes with a price. Inspiration came from the cover I used for this story....I do not own it! A Bagginshield fanfic, hope you enjoy! None of the characters or names belong to me but to their respective copyright holders. I often use lines from Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy, as this fanfiction is based on the films; I do not claim, however, that I have invented them.

Thorin starts blowing bubbles in the house. What will Bilbo do to get him to stop?

Thorin, son of Thrain, is a Dwarven prince in the kingdom of Erebor. He lives in the Lonely Mountain with his siblings Frerin and Dis, his father Thrain and his grandfather, Thror. Thorin's life feels empty, he doesn't have luck with women and forging is the only thing to get him away from his dark thoughts. Until one day, a hobbit appears. He seems like he has been wandering alone in the wild for a long time. He doesn't tell much about himself or his past. His past seem to haunt him. Still, Thorin deems the hobbit trustworthdy and decides to give him shelter. The company of this dwarf makes the hobbit, Bilbo, feel safe and at ease. Bilbo, for his part, makes Thorin feel loved and happier than ever. They realize that they have feelings for each other. But what happens when Thorin's family finds out about the affair? And what about Bilbo's dark past...?

This is set a bit after the Battle Of The Five Armies. Few things to get out of the way- 1- Thorin Lives because I say so. 2- Bilbo took the wound meant for Thorin but lives 3- Fíli and Kíli live as well bc I could never 4- The Company is basically one big ass family now bc Bilbo is a sassy sweetheart who unknowingly stole their hearts in different ways 5- Bilbo has different types of friendships with each of the Dwarves. For Example Dori, Nori, and Ori basically adopted Bilbo as a brother. He will be the younger for Dori, more like a twinish bit with Nori, and older for Ori 6- Ori is baby. Wanna know who was Baby in the company? Look up Ori. Tell me that isn't baby. 7- Dwalin does not have a stick up his ass because he will support his brother in all but blood Thorin. Even if he thinks his brother's taste is.....odd. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING SHIPS: Thorin X Bilbo Dwalin X Ori (Saw it once and it's too god damn cute) Kíli and Tauriel
