Chapter 3 - A walk in the garden

~The next day.. Reader's P.O.V~

I woke up to the sunlight in my face. I knew I had work to do so I got up out of bed and walked over to my closet to pick an outfit. I decided on a teal blue dress that went down to the floor. I decided to wear some white heels, they weren't too high though. I wanted to get used to wearing heels. Mey-Rin came in to help me dress and after that I went to breakfast. I ate breakfast with Mey-Rin and them because i was a staff, they were outside in the garden.

"Good Morning guys." I said as I sat at the table with them.

"Good Morning!" They all replied back.

"Ho.Ho.Ho" Tanaka said. I smiled at him.

"Well, it's wonderful outside isn't it." I said trying to get a conversation going.

"It is! Yes it is!" Mey-Rin replied back.

"Hey (F/N), why are you not eating with Young Master?" Finny asked me.

"Well, I thought that since I was a worker here, I might as well eat with the other staff." I replied.

"What a big heart!" Bard said wiping away his tears. I laughed and we ate breakfast together having fun. After we finished eating we cleaned up and headed inside.

"(F/N), The Young Master would like some help in the papers." Sebastian said as he finished cleaning.

"Oh, okay." I replied and started towards Ciel's room. I knocked on the door and heard his reply.

"You needed help?" I asked as I shut the door behind me.

"Yes, would you sort and fill some of these papers for me?" Ciel asked handing me a pile of paper.

"Will do Young Master." I replied setting the papers on the floor of his study and sat down on the ground.

"You could grab a chair and work at my desk." He suggested.

"No, it's fine. You have your space to work and I have my space. I would just get in your way." I replied as nice as possible. He just nodded. I soon finished the paperwork and I handed it to him after I was done.

"Thank you." He replied toneless.

"Is that all you would like for me to do?" I asked.

"Yes, you may go now." He replied. I bowed and exited the room. I wanted to take a walk outside so i went in the garden and took a little stroll for my break. The smell of the flowers and the wind in my hair. It all felt nice, but I had to watch where I was going because the ground was cobble stone and I was wearing heels. Then I saw Finny in the garden, I decided to go say hi.

"Hi Finny!" I said walking towards him.

"Hi (F/N), what are you doing outside?" He asked.

"I just wanted to go take a walk and I saw you so I came to say hi." I replied. He smiled his sweet smile which made me smile back.

"Well, let me walk with you." He said. We walked and I would trip now and then because of my heels.

"Are you okay?" Finny asked.

"Yeah, it's just that i'm wearing high heels and it doesn't go good with the ground." I explained showing him my shoe.

"Oh, I see!" He replied.

"Well, I should get back inside and see what I should do." I told him. He nodded and walked with me. As we were walking towards the manor my shoe got stuck in a crack and I tripped.

"Watch Out!" I yelled as I closed my eyes and fell on Finny. I slowly opened my eyes and I see that I'm on top of Finny because we fell. Our faces flushed red.

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry!" I replied getting up and helping him up.

"Don't worry, at least you didn't get hurt!" he replied grabbing the back of his neck. He was still blushing as well as me. I hurried off inside and I ran into Sebastian.

"(F/N), I want to talk to you about her job." He told me.

"Sure." I replied. He then explained what I was supposed to keep track of. I had to make sure Mey-Rin was doing the laundry and cleaned the manor, help Bard cook better and watch out for his flame throwers, and make sure Finny tends the garden. 'It doesn't seem to bad!' I thought. I decided to go to Ciel's study to check on him and his work so I headed towards his study.
