a/n: hey guys, long time no see! i've been really busy with school and going through personal stuff. i went back and read some of these, i miss writing so much, so i wanted to start writing again

i hope this isn't sucky as i haven't wrote in a long while and i hope it doesn't flop :)

FINNS POV

"hey finnie." i heard y/n's sweet voice behind me as she sat down next to me in the school cafeteria. i hadn't seen her since before spring break, and i had been doing a lot of thinking since then.

me and y/n had always been best friends, but i wanted to be more than that with her! it was difficult though, she didn't like guys like me.

"finnnn.." she shook her hand in front of my face and giggled. "why are you daydreaming?"

i stuttered, "uh.. i-i'm not."

"why are you being weird?" she smiled, she put her head on my shoulder. she did this all the time, but it felt weird. i shifted in my seat. "isn't he so dreamy?"

"who?" i snapped, trying not to sound to mad at what she had just said.

"chase roberts." she sighed, she picked up one of my fries from my plate as we both watched chase with all of his football minions.

chase was a total player! everyone knew. why did she have to be so oblivious? the perfect guy was right next to her!

she lifted her head for my shoulder. "so how was your spring break?" she asked, picking up another fry. i was distracted by her eyes and glossy lips.

"finn!" she snapped. "why are you being so weird?"

"i-i'm not." what the fuck was wrong with me? i was being weird!

"whatever!" she rolled her eyes. i had clearly annoyed her, my heart ached. "i'm gonna go- i've gotta- do something. see ya later." she grabbed her backpack and gave me a little wave before she walked away.

y/n was the most special girl ever, she deserved so much more than chase and every other guy she lusts over, none of them care about her like i do.

i love her.
